2014 North American Bitcoin Conference

To close out January 2014 the Bitcorati united in beautiful South Beach Miami for the North American Bitcoin Conference.

The show was packed an evident that interest in Bitcoin is growing rapidly. CoinDesk recently published a great summary on day 1 and day 2 of the conference which expected to see 500 attendees, but actually attracted over 1,000 people!

On day 2 I was excited to be the first speaker presenting (beginner/elementary) insights comparing Bitcoin to the Internet, Bitcoin value propositions, and ways bitcoin could disrupt media and advertising. If you missed my talk, you can watch the recorded presentation below.

The bitcoin conference in Miami kicked off what looks to be an exciting and busy future for bitcoin conferences and events. 17 more bitcoin conferences are planned this year alone!
